mrs smartbear has decided to change her car so I'm putting the feelers out on here first.
It's a 52 plate car so one of the last before the z4 appeared, great condition with recent new brakes (discs & pads) replacement rear screen and tonneau cover.
It's an individual built car with a superb tan leather interior that looks almost new, I fitted "southernboys" neat seat belt z brackets which look great.
Comes with a matching hardtop (these sell for up to a thousand pounds with brackets) I've also fitted z4 "daisy" wheels which really suit the car.
It's got the turbine smooth 2.2 engine with no issues & sounds brilliant, all handbooks & both keys are present as is service history (mix of bmw/independent) recently serviced & mot'd so needs for nought.
This car has only covered 66 thousand miles from new & was the best one we could find when we were searching, it's one of the best ones I've seen, looking for £4500 or £3800 without hardtop
We live in Chelmsford, essex.

Absolutely love this car, wish I could afford it! It shows as new so should sell easily , good luck!! JIM
Cheers Jim, I'm sure you must have some piggy banks stashed away :)
Not in any rush so il leave it on here for a few weeks & see what happens, it's not the cheapest example but I think you get what you pay for-those hardtops cost a fortune on their own!
Regards.

The HT's are actually not bad price wise which is why I bought two of them in the UK Before export it's the price of the fittings that drive the price up unrealistcally but both are pretty scarce in NA. I was VERY lucky, bought one set for £99 and got the HT with fittings for £600 with a set already installed in my car which I may sell to recoup some $$$. I really wish I did have piggy banks lying around full of cash, then I'd buy your car and Mora, then sell the other two cars here. I'm glad you can't see the tear drops on my fiddle!! JIM

I've had my z4 for over a year now, that's part of the problem-we have two 2 seater sports cars & it's just too limiting.
Ann's after a four seater car, possibly a mini clubman

Judging by the photos and description someone will get an excellent Z3 for that money! Good luck selling!

Have send you a PM re: the hard top should the new owner not have anywhere to store it/not require it.

Hi @Guppista thanks, this verifies just how few HT's there are for sale in the USA and Canada and confirms the lengths we have to go to if we want one!! Good luck, make sure you get the preliminary fitting kit if possible. JIM

Hi, I would be interested in purchasing the hardtop if it is for sale separately. Thanks.

Thanks for the interest but the hardtop won't be sold until after the car has gone, find me a buyer who is happy with just the soft top & we can have a deal! :D

"Bump"
Just been looking at autotrader & there's older 1.9's advertised for more ££ than our newer, rarer 2.2 individual car
It's a good price!
