Zorg Legend
I thought I would give a bit of a heads up to my fellow Z4 owners, I'm sure many already know about this but I'm sure there are a few that don't.
My 3.0 just failed it's mot with lower wishbone bushes (both sides). I couldn't be arsed pressing the old ones out so bought some "lollipops" with pre-installed poly bushes for 60 quid. Holy mother of god, what a difference!!!!!
My old Z3 3.0 had quite lively steering but the rest of the suspension set up felt a bit lollopy. I spent a small fortune on new shocks and springs and the whole car felt great. The Z4 had the opposite problem, I love the suspension setup (M-sport on my car as standard) but the steering felt a bit woolly. Also, it tramlined a bit. Now it feels really sharp and tramlining is minimal. I've heard of a few people complaining that Z4 steering can be a bit lifeless. This has to go on your to do list if you haven't already done it. Very cheap and easy to do with huge gains.
