Surprised you'd need a boot bag for an E85/6 the boot is a very good size? we manage week trips abroad in a Z3 and have just bought the Z3 3 part boot luggage to maximise space. If we were taking the Z4 I wouldnt even do that, but that said the luggage set would be my personal choice, always worried about not being able to leave the car with a boot bag on such as at services etc.

It is a convenience issue and you haven't met my wife!

Ah I see  I've trained my partner to pack light (if anyone tells her I said that I'm in big trouble :nailbiting: ;)) and getting the Z3 luggage set just stops any arguments  @mid life crisis has used a boot bag several times abroad so he may jump on and offer an opinion at some point now he's tagged.

Thanks for that. If me, my wife and our youngest are travelling the 6 Series boot is jammed full. If the other kids come the Transporter gets packed to the rafters with the roof box on top. We never travel light anywhere. Back in the old days I could go for a week on my own in the Z4 and have enough room to bring back a few cases of beer and wine.

Somebody call ? @Nodzed is quite right I have a bootbag that we have used on several trips out & the only problem as mentioned is the security especially when making a quick stop in the likes of service station, bit of a pain in the a### having to take it off & back on again or one of you has to stay with the car.
But it does stay watertight & doesn't move on the boot even at motorway speeds
Hope this helps
Gary
