After seeing The b of b thread I thought I'd post this.i travel this route on the road directly under this often its beautiful there is one spot" the bwlch " where you can park walk up the side of the hillside and stand above the planes as they fly at low level below you .It can be quite startling if you are cresting the bwlch as the fly towards you but impressive none the less.

we have low flying planes near us, they don't half sneak up on you when you are not expecting them, you literally s*1t yourself. Just few years after I passed my driving test I was driving on the road at the side of Loch Earn in an old 88" Landy, A low flying plane went passed and I thought the rear axle had dropped off!

What we get in Lincoln is what happened today, there is a very low cloud base, and, obviously very clear skies just above because up there the Red Arrows are up there practising and it is a bit loud when they suddenly shoot overhead, but you can't see the buggers!:)

I kind of like remeber that and considering that there were two fatalities, who the hell added this bit?
The Jaguar flew on for another 1,500 metres before striking the ground and exploding, killing 12 sheep and 2 cats.

I know seems petty.it happened within a couple 100 yds of a housing estate and school, that back onto our fields, the wing of the Cessna landed in someone's garden.

And that's getting a bit "close to home", When something like a mid air crash happens the fall out can drop almost anywhere. Then it get's a bit scary.
