Rust free bargain? I got rust free too. Bought the car and didn't pay a penny extra for the rust.. . .
Still...makes my 50k mile, rust free, 3 litre look like an absolute bargain, I suppose

Agree. There is a silver 2.0 Z3 that lives near me. It’s under cover outside all year apart from MOT day. It’s got less than 8k miles on the clock, but why? It’s never going to be worth more than £10, and even then, it’s not ULEZ and not a special edition. Better to get the enjoyment out of it yourself I think. What was the mileage on the £9k one? If it was VERY low then it's just a 'collection' car, start using it and bang goes the value. I would prefer one to drive rather than just look at.
Low mileage cars are highly overestimated. Time takes its toll no matter the mileage. unless its going to be a garage queen (and why should it be) a low mileage one has terrible issues with brittle plastics, perished hoses etc. i know because I was on that wagon and never going back again. well maintained and driven ones are the safest purchases. What was the mileage on the £9k one?
