That's good to hear otherwise I think you would be severely limited on where you could go

Bit too much for me and not a fan of the slammed look, but I do wonder what it'd look like with wheels filled to the arches. Aerodynamically I reckon that bodykit will make it slower :D

I do like the purple colour though.

Love to see it on a bumpy road, scattering bits of plastic in its wake, and shaking up the passengers with its lack of suspension travel.
I doubt if all that rubbish really is 'Factory fitted!' Another example of enthusiasm over good taste . . .

I'd like to nip the negativity in the bud here right away, I've noticed it creeping in more of late (I call it the Facebook influence). Whilst it's easy to go "Clarkson" about things on cars picked from the internet without the owner taking offence because they are completely unaware. However some of the comments I've seen on recent posts will upset existing members who maybe have a similar taste or interest. I for one love what can be achieved with the Z3/Z4 as a platform, we have some really boundary pushers on here and that's awesome.

There are people on here who are purists, and people who like to modify - and then everything in between - and for many years they've happily coexisted. So think a little bit harder about how YOU come across in future when you hit that reply button. There's an old adage of "If you've got nothing nice to say, don't say anything".

Sorry to bump up this thread. I seen this car at Zedfest around 2 years ago.

Now the sad part - was sold without the alloys/air ride to Romanian guys for 6k who then crashed it (scraped front, loose looking rear exhaust)

It was on fb marketplace around 3 months ago and i tried asking for the aero kit. Car was not sold for 2 months and I asked them my offer for the kit still stands. Suddenly after this they said its sold deleted all the listings after my message. Which i found strange. I asked who they sold it to replied with dont know

Checked the reg mot tax ran out I hope it hasnt been scrapped after making his losses

Pump-it-up air suspension shows that money and thought has gone in to that project. When I look at modified cars at shows I often (really) hate the look but can always appreciate the dedication and skill involved.

At least that car still looks like a Z3. Can't say the same for my project.

As for criticism. Personally I welcome it. I really don't take offence. Say, peacefully, what you think and I know where we stand. Roll your eyes or walk away without saying anything is worse than saying what you think.

Even if I laugh at the end result, I appreciate the effort that went into it.

It's like any hobby - just a time filler that may or may not be appreciated by others.
