Wouldn't last five minutes Neil. I used a bonding agent I bought off eBay (I got grey as it matched my car, easier to paint the edges afterwards). One tip, use liberally and do not skimp. Thoroughly roughen the underside of the spoiler (and the boot lid mounting points) and don't paint it where the bonding will be, or you will be doing it twice.

Does anyone know the difference between K1 and K2 adhesives? And would they be the better option than the last one?

by the looks of it you want k2
K1 seems to be for bonding metals specifically aluminium

The Dinitrol adhesive will be fine for this job Neil. If you want some tips for fitting pleas PM me.

Looks smart,
Sorry but can't help picturing what 'adhesive failure' would look like at 80mph on the M5. :wideyed:

Adhesive technology has come a long way

Lots of modern aircraft are 'glued' together

You can go grey for the outer ring only.
Or gloss black
Or grey ring, gloss black slats...
Or reverse!
What colour are the wheels on the car - could tie in with in with those.
Small item bit so many choices!
