Had me Zed mot'd today and as I expected it passed .
With an advisory. Leaking coolant fluid.
Just checked it an sure enough the bottom engine tray is quite wet.
A little xmas investigation me thinks.

Ive heard its a common problem on the z4 for the header tank to split

Yeh that was my first thought, checked today and it looks like it may be that , hard to tell , so as a precaution gonna get a new rad and associated pipework afterall its 12yr old ,
Changed thermostat, water pump last year, need it in tip top condition for our euro trip next year
