getting my vanos and a remap for the z3m at mr vanos on tuesday. anyone has work done there and what improvements can i expect. there seems a lot of difference in performance between my z4m and z3m but officially there is only 22 bhp between them.

got to be honest here and say my engine sounds great compared to the after video? anyone else have both cars and have such a difference in performance ?
The video's are deceptive and pick up more tappet type noise than you hear in real life. Made a huge difference to my car but it was suffering badly from the famous vanos growl. Well worth the money imho but to answer your question I have not unfortunately ever driven a Z4M so cannot really compare performance however I have heard that they are almost poles apart as you seem to be feeling. The S50 in reality is more like 300bhp at best whereas I understand the quoted 343 of the S54 is far more true so that could explain the difference you are experiencing.
