I salvaged these a few months ago and thought they may look ok on the Z, I spent an hour today reshaping them as the radius needed changing, my plan is to have them gloss black against the gold, the jury is still out though

I think these will work very well.
It gives it the ‘fangs’ like the M bumper and you retain the deep airdam Of the 2.8 bumper (I don’t like the shallow M airdam so this is best of both it seems).

If they were fitted right to look like omen piece with the orioginal bumper they could look very nice body colour...

Really like this idea, keen to see how it finishes up - you might have to open an order book!

Having them black would be a good contrast with the car's colour. They might also help protect the edge of the bumper from parking rash.
