Nice, do you have many pictures of your car overall and what you've done to it so far ?

Here’s where we start.

2004 Z4 3.0i. All the packages. 73k miles we just rolled. It was my moms car and she took immaculate care of i

just replaced the broken shifter knob above.

The plans are (in no order):
1. Brakes, f &r rotors and pads
2. Fresh fluids
3. LSD
4. Touch up some road chips
5. Repair/clean up some rash on front bumper
6. Front splitter
7. Rear deck lip
8. New wheels, 17”s with ultra grippy tires
9. Window tint
10. Custom exhaust
11. Roof motor relocation
12. Coil overs.

no rush on these. Probably over next two years as time permits. I still want to drive it after all!

Well changed the oil and filter today. Used an oil extractor. Took a bit but very easy and no mess. Took out about 6.25 quarts (5.9L). Says it needs 6.9q. So happy with that, oil had about 5k on. Was still brown, so overall pretty happy. I put in mobile full syn high mileage, I’m at 73k miles.

also, I have noticed a rattle with top down. Figured out the roll hoop/bar cover was creaking a bit. Never liked the silver so though about pulling off to repaint. Under it all it’s body color. No clear on it, just paint, but with a polish and wax could look great. I got one enjoy the new look. What do you think?

Like the colour but not so much the shape. If it were me I would paint the covers and replace them.
I did the ones on my E89 a few weeks ago.

@Docster your Z4 looks great, obviously its been well looked after. Got to say I think the repainted plastic would look better. Each to their own though

Do you know where I can buy sunshades Z4 Roadster? I want some more protection from the sun inside the car, and I wonder whether I can find the original sunshades for it somewhere. I couldn’t find them in any shops I know, unfortunately.
If I wouldn’t find any original sunshades, I will order custom-made ones from snapshades.com.au. They also make good multilayered sunshades that fit the size of the window perfectly and use magnets to hold onto windows. I need it to protect the skin from harmful UV light and lower the risk of skin cancer for my passengers and me.
