In car, and classic theres a 2003 bmw z4,3 litre, auto, with 22,000 miles only, just run in},for 8,000£.You could get a very good s drive z for that money!Interesting in that its very enticing for a z4 enthusiast to be tempted by this low mileage early z 4 2003.Of course being an auto is a slight minus !on the other hand a z4 s drive could be had with all the improvements ect for similar money. You know i love the early z4,interior aside, but for me it would have to be the z4 s drive i would put the 8,000£s into?

Horses for courses... I would say the two should not be compared directly.
You certainly won't find a 22k mile S drive for £8k.
Many would argue that the E85 is a far more engaging drivers car. (Apart from the fact that this example is an auto)

Swap a manual gearbox in there and it's probably a fair price for a very low milage E85.

I bought my E85 3.0 Auto 5 years ago with 16,000 miles on it.

It must have been in mint condition when you got it.Do you prefer an auto?
i do like lazy driving, my Z3 was an auto too. The 3.0 has enough under the bonnet to put a smile on my face.

When I had my Z3 I also had a VW Touareg (Auto), which I p/x for the Z4. Shirl has a VW Eos with the DSG 6 speed Auto and I had a VW Touran Auto (DSG) before the Touareg.
