So Hi everyone. Just bought this Z3 it needs some paint here and there, I got the name for the silver. Titan silver apparently, it’s a 1999 on a V plate. Any ideas what the name is for the wheels? And a good product for the hood?

Welcome from Porthcawl. Wheels could be style 55, not much of them on the pic to go on

I would give the hood a good hover. Treat any meldew and green stuff with water down Milton first. Then if still needed autoglym softop cleaner agitate with a soft brush as a hard one will be too harsh on the twill. Then treat the rubbers with gummifledge.

If the colour is faded you can use Renvo restorer but in my case it was ok for a while and am changing mine with a good secondhand one I bought otherwise it would have been a replacement from Jack Trimmers in Swansea about £360 fitted maybe more now?

Thanks, I’ll take some pics tomorrow, I rubbed them down through the clear coat, and was going to just lacquer them again. Pretty impressed considering they are 25 year old.,struggling getting wheel bolts off tho, and on all four wheels the anti theft one is missing👎

Good Info much appreciated, I’m off looking for autoglym kit tomorrow. Seems to be the one to go with

Security wheel bolts are over rated and I can't remember the last time I saw a car on blocks anyway. Replace them with standard bolts. This problem is caused by Apes at tyre fitting bays over tightening the bolts. When you have tyres changed insist that they tighten to the correct torque figure. When they tighten with a torque wrench watch that the wrench does actually move OR they're already overtightened.

Tony.
