So having bought the E89 last week I've been pouring over all the associated forum information to familiarise myself with that model having not owned one before.
First job on the list is the battery - the car hadn't been used much before I bought it and although it had a BMW battery dated 2017 despite me recharging it overnight it seems to struggle holding the charge.
Anyway having read all the info it sounded like there was no point risking it so I ordered a like for like replacement that is due to arrive today from Tayna.
From what I understand In view of the above it won't need coding but will need registering - if I don't have the necessary software to do that is it just a case of taking it to BMW or will they refuse if they haven't supplied the battery?
