Today I finally got round to fitting a new Dab stereo and window aerial.
Reason.
Bmw business stereo code locked.
Aerial amplifier U/S. - How much new or even second hand:mad::rage:
Multi stack player had no cassette.

My requirements -
cheap as possible.
Bluetooth.
Dab.
No too bright or modern looking -

Components -
Pure Highway H260DBi Digital/FM/AM Radio with Bluetooth - £75 Amazon
Harness Adaptor PC2-05-4 -£10 Halfords
Dab window aerial - £20 - Halfords.

I chose the Pure unit as it was cheap, had good reviews, not overly in your face you have 12 back light colors to choose from along with custom color mix several brightness levels or turn off altogether.
It also has built in basic telephone hands free system with an external microphone.
Easy to set up.
Aerial outlet on the Pure stereo is powered so no separate power supply to the Dab aerial unit ( the aerial needs power which not all stereos supply)

The aerial and microphone cables were very easy to run, the windscreen pillar plastics just pop off and all other panels were a couple of screws. Total fit time was less than an hour.

I should have placed the aerial slightly lower, but I am happy with it. Reception seems good with good strength bars showing on the stereo.
Telephone quality is good and all through the car speakers.

So For £105 I am now up to date again with a Dab system.

No , the multi stack in the boot is now redundant in my eyes. It may well do, but I have not looked into it further.
To be honest i have not used cd's for years now be it in car or home
