New to this forum but Not new to the Z3! I have a 1998 Boston metallic Green z3 1.9! Started it's life with me at 40k miles stock and automatic. Throughout the last 8 years i've had it there isn't much I haven't done! I am lucky to have a 1500 Sqft shop at my house with a two post car lift installed. As it sits now i have 170k miles. I have converted the car from a automatic to a 5 speed around 100k miles. Then i Went with H&R springs on bilstein Shocks and struts. Poly urethane Front lower control arm bushings. Poly Rear Sub frame bushings. 3.73 LSD from a 88 E30 (Yes i swapped from the small case to the medium case). Finned diff cover from a 99 z3M. Corbeau Clubman Race seat. I custom make shift handles for fun. I have the Z3M factory shifter mated to my Getrag so the throw is beyond short. EWS Delete due to several attempts at repair. ECS Drilled and slotted rotors. EBC Green Stuff pads. Style 189 Staggered wheels from a E90 335i coupe. All the maintenance obviously performed to the engine. Water pump, hoses, etc etc all been replaced several times through out the life. Every Seal and gasket on the engine at least once. I daily drive the car and Do several track days a year from the Auto-x at BMW performance center to Roebling road in GA. I Just recently (Yesterday) Picked up a 80k mile m44 to shave the head and have some porting done to make a budget Higher compression engine for fun. (Mine is starting to show wear from lots of miles at 80mph and 4k revs due to the diff and track days) Thanks for the add and i look forward to wandering around here helping anyway i can.

Forgot to mention I bought a z3 for my mom (my responsibility to keep it running) last month. It's a 97 1.9 Automatic stock. Just did thermostat, Water pump, hoses, belts, tensioners, plugs, valve cover gasket, wires, shocks, struts, bushings, and engine mounts to it as well. Do technically i have two 1.9 z3s in the family
