5Hi Tel, you haven't mentioned which particular Z4 you have. If it's an E85 then you will also need to get a fascia converter to allow you to fit a standard stereo.
I'm not familiar with that particular unit I'm afraid.
Good point Tony, I never though of that. I haven't had the old unit out to check, but I'll do some more research on the dimensions of the new head unitHave you had the original head unit out yet Tel to see how much space there is for a new unit. Although the facia size is standard, sometimes these type of units can be quite a bit longer and require more room behind the facia. I hope that makes sense.
Tony.
Just a thought, and I don't mean to tell something you may already know, but, do you know how to get the air vent out to remove the radio?Good point Tony, I never though of that. I haven't had the old unit out to check, but I'll do some more research on the dimensions of the new head unit

A quick update... There should be no issues regarding the depth of the unit and also the Pioneer head unit allows the use of the existing steering wheel controlsHi Tony,
I've emailed the car audio shop to double check with them so i'll wait and see what they say, from what I've seen from online pics it should fit
Ok, that's good. Did you want the removal pictures?A quick update... There should be no issues regarding the depth of the unit and also the Pioneer head unit allows the use of the existing steering wheel controls
