I have had my silver Z3 for about 13 years and shes been the best car i have ever had 😘 Unfortunately i need to find her a new home but dont know the best way of doing this. Her bodywork is rough, but i believe the engine to be great, S reg, only done 65000 miles and never lets me down. The MOT runs out within the next couple of weeks so would welcome any advise on the best way to rehome her :racecar:

Hi, first off take loads of photos and put a for sale on here with as much detail about the car and its service history as possible. You never know someone on here may take an interest.

Where the car is located is a big help too.

And maybe taking it through an MOT test. You said it expires in a few weeks. Do you have concerns about it failing an MOT? Potential buyers will wonder about that too.

It will be worth your while getting a new MOT. People are not going to take much notice of advisories from the last one, as that was a year ago. You will get beaten down on price with little MOT, for various reasons. If the MOT runs out, that makes more of a problem for any buyer, as they won't be able to drive it or pick it up without a trailer. This will also affect the value of the car.

Agreed, I would be put of buying a car without an MOT or a very short one less with than 6 months left. It would need to be very cheap just in case.

I'm based in Sheffield and have sold a few Z3’s in the past so happy to help where I can - if you want to send me your address I can try and call round to discuss with a view to getting it booked in with my local mechanic to sort out the MOT
