There should be a live feed to the heater element inside the O2 sensor Jason, if you have a wiring diagram? you should be able to follow its path back to the supply. Is there a seperate fuse maybe? I will see what info I can dig up tomorrow mate. What year's your car? 1.9?

Tony.

thanks Tony, 1998, there is only one o2 sensor on my car, question is- is the misfire because of the o2 fault or is the o2 error a product of the misfire, the fact it says no signal would suggest the o2 sensor is ok but the power for the heat element is not present

I think you have 2 separate faults to be honest mate. I'll see what I can find out tomorrow. Wiring diagrams have recently been added to our computer at work hopefully I can print a copy of yours if it's on there.

Hi Jason, had a look on our data system and sadly they haven't added wiring diagrams for Z3's, yet at any rate. I will keep on checking though.

Thank for looking Tony, a quick update, errrr i wasnt driving the car, honest - refitted the old lambda and after 20 miles no codes for anything, odd really as it still has that stumble on idle.
