Hi all. New member here.

I am a 50 year old male from Hertfordshire. I own a Deep Sea Blue E89 35i with 7 speed DCT gearbox. I have had it since October 2023 after wanting one for many years. I love the car but having a couple of issues at the moment that are hopefully being fixed next week by a BMW approved indy. Looking forward to getting if sorted and so i can enjoy it again.

Other intersets are motorcycles (i own a Triumph Street Triple), football (coaching my sons team and watching my local League 1 team).

the first issue i have was the rear drivers side window is leaking. Only spotted it when putting on my seatbelt and the belt was wet. The main issue is the dash has started lighting up like a Christmas tree and the car goes into limp mode.

It has been suggested that it may be the ABS pump, also the leak may have caused an issue with the electrics under the drivers seat. Either way i dont have the mechanical know how, time or somewhere i can work on it. Meaning it had to go in to be looked at. Unfortunately the garage was busy and it has taken 3 weeks to get it in. It goes in Wednesday and hopefully i can get it all sorted out and start using it again.
