Hi,
Just wanted to introduce myself.
My name’s Barry and I live near Kettering, Northants. I rescued a rather poorly 1998 1.9 M44 narrow body during lockdown in 2020 and have been slowly restoring it.
It’s been a real labour of love but it’s almost finished now and whilst recently sourcing some parts I was recommended to join zroadster.org by a fellow Z enthusiast.
I'm looking forward to being a member here and hope to gain more knowledge and look forward to interacting with you all at some point.
I've attached a few pictures of my journey with the Z3 and look forward to seeing your pride and joys along the way.
Best wishes
Barry

Welcome onboard Barry.

Thats a great introduction and the car looks like a real testament to your skills and dedication.

Trust me your going to find the forum a gold mine of information and full of friendly like minded individuals.

Looks like you've cracked the photo upload process but once uploaded if you select full image before you post the images come through slightly larger and consequemtly easier to view.

Hi Tony, thank you and sorry my bad I should’ve added my location too. I’ll edit my original post to show this 👍

Welcome to the nut house Barry, can only advise not to feed the animals here =))

Brilliant job you've done there, getting less & less M44 1.9's now.

I agree with Lee. Too many 1.9's being scrapped. I too have a 1.9

I wish I had your dedication and enthusiasm. Mine is mega rusty and crusty underneath and I just can't bring myself to clean and paint bits nobody sees.

Well done.

Welcome aboard, looks like you have been busy, good job on the inner sills.
As we are Worldwide its a good idea to update your User details to show your location and exact model of your car so these details appear to the left of your posts when viewed on a laptop and expands on your user when viewed on a phone. It assists us in answering questions and saves you typing them in each time you post a thread.
