Hi everyone. I’m Steve and I’ve actually been registered here for quite a long time, but haven’t posted until now. I’ve only ever used the site for info until now.

I’ve had my 2002 Z3 2.2 Sport since 2010 but it has unfortunately been stood unused and neglected for the past 6 years since I had a pretty serious motorbike accident and was unable to drive it for over a year.
Working abroad then saw her receiving further neglect until now when I’m hopefully going to have a bit more time to get her back to her former glory.

Anyway, here’s the Zed from when I bought her.

There is a guy on back Red Bank Rd in Bispham who breaks Z3’s and has shedloads of parts, he is on e-bay as Rainbowsys, have so far managed to get most of the bits I need for my 2.2. I think I have his number somewhere and will have a look later if I can find it.

Hi and welcome from me. I suppose the first step would be to drain the fuel tank, replace all filters and fluids, check your intake hoses for any splits etc before looking at and possible corrosion issues. Where you fortunate to be able to store it in a dry garage? Hopefully you’ll be back on the road soon enough.
