Just fitted & cleaned up the great new sports seats from spurs fan in a coupe, aka Andy. It's wonderful to finally have a warm bum & they are so much more comfortable imho.

Now, I was looking for beige, but these white ones look really nice, though I'm not sure quite how well they go with the rest of the interior. My options are; leave them white, change them to all beige, or do a half and half, beige & tan as in the M seats, though I doubt this combination was ever offered by BMW. I'd appreciate any opinions. Cheers everyone.

As an afterthought, my beige standard seats are in good condition & will be for sale on ebay when I'm back from holiday, but if anyone is interested, let me know.

Not a combination I've ever seen, but looks easy enough on the eye! Perhaps a few extra bits like the gaitors and door card panels in a similar colour would tie it in better?

Personally I would put the white door cards on and get some vinyl paint to do the consul white and possibly some of the dash. With the seats I would have the back centres changed out to beige but leave the bottoms all white or change the outer bolsters to beige with white inserts. You could always also add the beige into the door cards, I think the combo will work well together. My friend had a pickup in those colours with a combo interior and it looked great. Your imagination will let you know what works and what doesn't!! Wish I could have had those seats and cards for my TOO car and that's what I envisioned! But pensions don't allow those dreams to happen. JIM

Thanks for the ideas folks. The problem with the white door cards are that they have black surrounds, otherwise I'd have had Andy's as they are in good condition. No, I think the rest is perfect (for me). It's just a matter of deciding two tone or solid for the seats. I'll let imagination run and see what others think.

If it were me I would get the seats dyed to match your interior, the drivers seat need a little work anyway so this could take care of that at the same time. IMO if you start changing over trim to try and make the seats look as if they should be there, you will spend more money than dying the seats in the first place.

Just my 2p worth :)

Love the seats. I notice both of you have the same style of seat. I am going to be redoing the interior of my 96 Z3 and it looks like those will fit. Question about the seats though, are they comfy & what style are they? E36 sport seats, or what can I search for when shopping? Kevin, looks like we're pretty close as I am in NC near Raleigh. Did you get yours locally or online?

Edit: I found the seats with the almighty Google. They are the M series seats? Will those fit into the non-M series 96 Z3? Thanks.

I've always searched for BMW Z3 Sports Seats
My brother has swopped over to the Sports seats in his 99y model.
