Hi all,

New alloys arrived from Rimstyle today so felt like an early x-mas :)

Plan was to run these solely as winter wheels but have changed this somewhat and will fit all season winter/summer tyres so I can keep them on throughout next year :) Alloys are RS JK5 8x18s ET42, the finish is excellent. Plan to fit 225/40 tyres front and rear, hopefully in 2 weeks time.

Some piccies,

Tim.

Cheers, fancied a bit of a dish for a change, hope they won't look too blingy :ymsmug:

Lovely looking wheels, I don't think they are blingy in the slightest. :-bd

I'm not sure about the spare though, looks a bit furry to me. Not sure how you would attach it to the car either. :-?

Cheers chaps, they'll be something else to polish when the fancy takes me :)

As for the pussy, its not mine but seems a permanent resident around the house and in the house :-?

Currently in my bad books as I fitted some foam padding to the house wall for when I park up and he had found a new scratch board :ymdevil:

Nice Tim ;)

Rim style are a great service.. I had 8"x 18" dtms off them for my 2.8 if you remember..

Being 8" all round you will find you'll need 20mm spacers on the rear

Thanks Liam, I wasn't planning on any spacers to be honest, the alloys are ET42 so not far off factory spec of ET41 lol so should sit as my original Style 78s did when I first bought the Zed which I was happy with.

You can if you want, our neighbour has just moved today and they were going to leave me their moggy but they have taken him, so we will need something to keep the mice at bay being surrounded by all these fields, presuming thats what he's been doing for us all ;)

Hmmmmm not sure he would be a good mouse chaser he tends to sleep alot and chases flies when feeling energetic, he didn't lift a paw to help me unpack the alloys :-w
