Run a diagnostic and it highlighted a number of errors, one being the reversing sensors, and heated seats having an open circuit reversing sensors had been playing up as they were sounding as you put it in gear, cleared all the errors sensors are now full operational as they shoud be, Good bit of kit for £23.99. I put an offer in for £20 and it was accepted, so £23.99 including postage.

Looks an interesting alternative to the c110 code reader. May have to get one myself and have a play!

With a very limited look at it Gary, it seems to be a good piece of Kit. only played with the main diagnostic part so far, but it will do a lot more, one of the things (in relation to the Z4) is key coding, what the system will do and wont do when you press the open or close on the keyfob I understand that these can be programmed.

IIRC there are quite a few useful things that can be programmed on the Z4 such as how long the lights stay on once you get out the car and so on.

I wonder if you can set the folding door mirrors to fold and unfold when the car is locked or unlocked?

You only need the addition of the round connector adapter cable to use it on the Z3 which the seller offers in a complete package but if you already have one no need to shell out for another one.

In that case.. I wonder what sort of pc requirements the software needs.. looks interesting. Addition to the C110 maybe.. Always good to have an arsenal of different software to take a problem.

any 34 bit, but a 64 bit works better.

Minimum Hardware Requirements

● Intel or AMD 1.6Ghz or faster processor
● 1Gb Ram (2Gb or more recommended)
● 40Gb of Harddisk Space if installing everything or 2Gb if installing the main programs INPA/NCS Expert/WinKFP etc.

Please note that VMWare which is required for DIS and SSS Progman requires a 64bit processor. Most computers built after 2004 have 64bit processors in with the exception of some low power processors such as Intel Atom or some low end AMD processors.

This is the one I have. Not used DIS yet but the INPA diagnostics is good and gives faults not just code numbers. Can reset everything as it is BMW specific.

You need the 20 pin adaptor as well to read all the codes as it has to plug into the engine bay.
Loads more than just diagnostics including live data eg fuel pressure, injector readings tests individual wheels speed sensors + service resets.
