New Wheels Have Arrived

My new wheels have now arrived. waiting to go on the Zed. I have given them 2 coats of polish and 3 coats of Poor boys wheel sealant

I think I like the rears better than the fronts

the rears have a deeper concave but due to the offset you can not get as much on the fronts. Not sure if i will be putting BMW Badges on as i quite like the silver insert. Wont be putting them on till the weather warms up. Going to use the cades i have now as my winter wheels

Have you put the infamous 'Run-flats' on or have you steered (excuse the pun!) clear?

Nope i have gone for Continental Sport 5. Wheels are 9.5 Rear and 8.5 Front

Good for you. I think Run-flats are the single worst thing BMW ever did to cars. Should look/ride great.

When i swap them over i will try the Carbon BMW centres i have and if they look better then i will get some new ones

I try and only put Continentals on as i think they are an excellent all round tyre, only trouble is if you toe it they wear very quickly. On the Z3 they only lasted around 12000mls

I have to admit they were not my first choice but Ispiri did not have the rears and would not have them made till the end of Feb, but now i have seen these in the flesh i think they are a better choice, that and they are dearer but because the supplier could not get the Ispiri he did them for the same price plus free delivery. Saved around £50

Mark i agree, but i will have a look to see what the Black Carbon BMW bages look like so i can make a decission. Not in any rush to fit them yet. I will prob give them a going over a few times with the sealant

I would leave a day between coats of the sealant.
It will make cleaning so much easier in the future.

No acid based cleaner will be needed then.
