From what I can see on that link above, it looks a little toned down from the concept. Or is it just my eyes?

If it’s performance and handling matches it’s looks it might forever dispel the “hairdresser” jokes that as a Zed owner I frequently receive!

No offence to hairdressers!

It looks like an E85 with a crap body kit. BMW need to take their brave pills and go with the concept design, that would be a move forward in the right direction.

I totally agree - I was looking through concept designs earlier and the i8 really stands out among the rest of the cars. I think sticking with that concept they pitched would be fantastic. It may just be a case, as in most car production, of trying to please everyone. Too many cooks though...
I wonder how many customers will upgrade the bodywork to look more like the concept?
