Newbie to the z3

I recently purchased a bright red Z3. June of this year. The car came with one or two issues, one being the problematic sliding drivers seat when braking etc. I have read about replacement bushes. Where can I purchase these from?

Nice looking car!

I've got the same problem with mine. My new bushes have just arrived this morning, and I plan to tackle this job tomorrow.

My airbag light is also on, so that's two reasons to take the seats out, and look at the seat wiring while I'm at it.

I did find a couple of good videos on Youtube with instructions also, so worth checking out if you prefer a video tutorial!

Whether this is the correct place to ask the following question:

OK so my Z3 drivers seat works on the electric switch down by the offside of the seat. Forward and back, up and down.
Passenger seat: Forward and back.....however no up or down, just a jolt type movement and a click (how I describe it)
Is this something which could be easily fixed?

May need a new motor or it could be jammed at its extremity as this can happen. If you should need a new motor I have these too.

You would need to remove the seat and then the motor. Each seat has 2 motors and they drive spindles which I also have if needed.
