Think I've found the alarm fault, thanks to a chap from a Z forum, cleaned the alarm sensor, between the torsion bars underneath the bonnet, the bonnet closes the switch when it's shut. My bro hooked it up to his fault code computer and there are no fault codes.A code reader will tell you where the warning light error is coming from and also possibly the alarm too.
These are not expensive but are a valuable part of any Z owners tool kit.
Where are you located Pete?
Tony.
By the way Pete I'm near Lincoln myself.South Lincs, My bro is a member here and he has a Code Reader too. Could be the first stop.
