Hi I just sold my 2007 Z4 and I’m purchasing a 2009 Z4 3.0
The vehicle has a couple of problems that I’m hoping someone can help me out with.
First the convertible hard top stops about halfway when trying to put it down.
Second, the radio will come on, but it has no sound coming out of the speakers.
Any help to point me in the right direction is greatly appreciated. Thanks

Hi, firstly welcome from me near Lincoln, secondly you really need to have a code reader connected to the car to give some clues as to what is wrong. My E89 developed a roof issue which turned out to be the “Hall” sensors on the roof mechanism. Did you buy the car a at price reflecting these issues?
