The Auto in my 1998 2.8L Z3 has a warble/vibration noise at 38 kmph. Happens both in auto and locked in second, so it's not a shift valve. Only happens when the transmission is cold.
Car has done 62,000 km, so is virtually new
Thinking of changing the fluid to DEX6, which has a slightly lower viscosity to simulate a warm transmission when cold and see if the noise goes away.
Thoughts?
