Non OEM rear lights, any experiences?

Hi Guys,

Finding it impossible to get a good pair of second hand clear/red rear lights for less than £100 (which is what i think they are worth)

anyone had experince of these new (non-oem) lights?

I used something similar a few years back on my 1.9, they were fine. You will find there is a new bulb holder with the kit, this is for the coloured indicator bulb as they have a slightly different pin configuration on the side of the bulb. I have heard some members did not change the holder and put the amber bulb in the standard socket and it seemed to work, I did change mine and it was a bit of a faf but not complicated.

I used an aftermarket set on my old zed and they were fine quality was quite good and fitment as good as oem

I bought a set of M style new of eBay. Can't remember the seller. Cost £60 delivered. Quality is fine. It was a German seller.

That's better! Looking for some for the 4. Centre brake light (clear) is £58. Hopefully cheaper in the US.

I'm pleased you approve Tony! I do like the de-tango'd look.

Makes a huge difference mate, that's why I invested in my all chrome headlights etc. 1 less colour to look at, if you see what I mean?

I'll be getting some orange led bulbs to completely get rid of the tango look.

Great buy, you'll need to de tango the rest of the car, it makes a huge difference IMO.

Headlights make the biggest difference I think, especially with some eye brows too.
