Ann-Marie took the Jeep to work today instead of her Z3. Its diabolical outside and the dog doesn't even want to go out.
Had the daily booked in for new tyres all round today and what is normally a short trip down the road wasn't! Gridlock due to flooding so I've had to make long detours to avoid closed roads and the worst floods, but still encountered many smaller floods.The flooding down the Derwent valley here is expected to peak later, around 1am. Glad we live on top of a hill.
Blowing an absolute hooley up in the frozen North West. Was hoping for a tail wind or a head wind but side wind it was, an "interesting" ride home on my motorbike

Shirl had to go get the flu jab at Saxilby at 5.00. Fire Brigade pumping out of property over the road from the Docs. Torksey Lock and Fosse Dyke filling up nicely.

An increase in incidents has led to the close of Rufford Ford to ensure safety.
I remember that, but there's always one. Shame he didn't rip the tyres on the tractor.

Wrecked the road by the look of it tearing out those concrete blocks! Should face a heavy fine if he drove through knowing it was closed.
At the weekend roads in and around Derby were like this or worse and that's after millions spent on new flood prevention schemes.
