Had any issues with getting the door cards to sit back properly aligned?

No issues at all in fairness.
I’ve had my car’s bodywork restored and the driver’s door card isn’t sitting properly. Asked restoration company who said they can’t put it back as it was and I need a new one. I don’t want another door card because the colour won’t match so any advice would be greatly appreciated, please.

Pictures would help Dawn. I had the N/S door trim off my Z3 and it went back perfect.

I wpuld guess as a minimum that several of the trim "buttons" are broken. I had to buy a packet of 10 (I think) when i had my trim off and i still.have a few which you can have on the 08th. Maybe a job for an upcoming Shed day Dawn. I'll dig them out.

Tony.

As for the roadster trims you will need some paint stripper and a scothbrite pad, cur them off with a sharp craft knife strip the top coat off and finish with a scotchbrite or for a gloss use solvol

Cheers Tony. They simply aren’t sitting flush and you know I look after my car :)
