Blessed with a sad Z so need to fix it up, mostly good but I want it to be better. Mechanic I trust but.... hmmm want someone good now because both BMs I own are very special to me. Money not always the issue just need the work done by someone who understands the car.
Needs brakes, mirrors, scouring ebay for z3m mirrors, drivers window fixing - glove box catch broken and dash leather needs retrimming. on the plus side I know the history and mechanically good 122k not bad for 16 years.
Any good people around can live without the car for a couple of weeks

Welcome Martin!
Nice couple of BM!
For the small works you have to do , the 2.8 is a blessing, as you said.
Loads of info and help on this forum.
Wish you good work and many miles with the Zed!:)

Hello from Cornwall. There's a member not far from you in Warminster who regularly advertises breaking Zeds and there are a few Zed projects being undertaken by other members too.

Hi Martin,

I've just replied to your message asking for more information on what needs doing, but just seen this post with a list! Good news is that you don't have anything really serious or so it looks.

I'll be happy to help you out with what I can :)

Cheers, Gary

Hi Martin, welcome from here near Lincoln. Doesn't look as though you have any major issues, just the usual age related things which crop up on these great little (old) cars. Someone will definitely be able to help with all of that and if you were nearer to me I would gladly pitch in too. Enjoy the car and the forum for all it gives.:)

Tony.

:welcome: from me - as others have said doesn't appear to be anything too serious.

Welcome to the madhouse from Canada! You'll find all the assistance you need here. There are a few projects underway that were in dire straights compared to your list. Ask away and someone will come along with a solution! Good luck, JIM
