Oil filter housing tool

Hi.. l want to source one of those tools for removing the top of the oil filter housing on my 2007 e86 3.0L si.

Ive had a look on ebay and there are different sizes puporting to be the right one..

Can someone pls point me in the right direction

If you put the registration of the car into eBay it will tell you what specific parts fit will fit the car

I needed to do the same for a van that I have. I went onto the ECP site and searched for oil filters against the registration number, I could then drill down and get the dimensions for the oil filter, therefore letting me order the correct size tool for the filter. in short, pretty much the same as Stewartyboy.

For my 3.0si, I bought this adjustable one from Halfords which does the job well:

@Alan W just measure the hexagon on the filter housing accross 2 "flats". That's the size you need.

Alan, have a look on Opie Oils, they sell these so you dont damage the plastic when removing it. Give em a call and they will tell you the correct one I'm sure.
