Hi Guys & Girlzs,

Been away for a while, Car wants oil change! some confusion over what is best! 0 -30, 40? or 5 -30, 40, prefer Mobil1 but what is best, 5w 40 is ok but want whats best! Anyone out there tell me? or will any of the above do? Oil change every 10,000.

I guess asking which oil on the forum is akin to asking to choose your favourite child, I go with
Fuchs TITAN SUPERSYN 5W-40 , always used it for my BMW's and been happy, but others are avialable, nice to see another Lincs Zed

Thanks Simon, I think 5 - 40 is probably best, just that some use the others I mentioned! Never seen the Fuchs brand, where do you get it from, I'm in North Lincs! We sometimes meet up with other Zeds, also there is a sports car club on Fb. We regularly meet up! and its good to see other cars! TVRs, SLKs, Porsche etc! All are welcome! Just recently had a run to Tealby!

There will be a preference between owners as to what they use, but what which ever you go for make sure it's fully synthetic and a decent brand.

http://opieoils.co.uk is a good place to check out for oil. You can usually find a discount code for them through Google. bimmerf or scoobynet should give you a 10% discount in the checkout process, tried them earlier

I always use ZCLUB has a nice ring to it!, then leave in the basket for 6 hours and wait for shipping discount. The saving aside they are really helpful and I have never had anything less that 100% good service from them

Hi @eddie1. missed you last year when I was looking to arrange a meet up at Gainsborough (Trentport pub) again. They didn't get back to me so I moved it to my local at Torksey Lock. Having a re-run this September including a shortish cruise if you're interested mate. Hope you're keeping well.

Hi Tony, been away, computers been playing, so laid off everything! Car got pranged waiting for MOT got culprit on CCTV so no claim on me! Sagas got me a nice Merc E220 Bluetech! in black to use while its in! Recently joined a local group called Sports Car Club its on FB. Anyone is welcome. We meet at various pubs around, Tealby was the last one. Various cars turn up from Porsches to Beamers to Mercs, MGBs anything really so its good to see variety! Of course will remain faithfull to this one! Deffo up for a meet, just say when, Trent port would be good cos it was our first one! but anywhere really Torksey sounds good! Keep in touch good to hear from you. Might take a ride out to Torksey will tell some of the guys!

Hello again mate, there's a car "rally" at Marshall's Yard Gainsborough coming up soon on Sunday 26th June. It's the RESPECT Vintage& Sports car rally. Might be worth a look.

ps. As I said I looked to have the meet at the Trentport pub again last year but they didn't get back to me until it was too late, but it was better out here. More room for the cars and a great pub meal too. Same again this year with a 40 mile run included.
