I'm feelin' guilty - will have to do some cleaning underneath, brake pipes etc, in preparation for MOT in April. I've put 750 miles on the clock this year, so MOT fee only, quick clean underneath, and on we go, hopefully!

Cheers guys its my hobby more than anything and the disability makes everything 10x more tough though i'm not complaining as its 10x more rewarding, in the next couple of weeks I have to take it for its MOT... the bit I dread!

This will shock most people but I intend to spray bits of the car myself and the more I get told that it cant be done the more I want to try it, I cant spray for shat ;) but it will either be ok or I will have to get someone else to do it.. simples, the front bumper is so bad anyway the bottom half has little top coat on it anyway as the road rash has worn it all away so I'd have to be blind to make it any worse, TBH I'd like to get some front wings or a bumper or something to try out on first but we will have to wait and see :)

Good for you mate, like you say if you don't try you'll never know. Biggest advice you can get is be patient, take your time, oh and be patient.
Above all else enjoy doing it even if it doesn't work out right.

Tony.

ps. I'm sure you could get some old body panels from a breakers to practice on.

Had mine for going on two years in August and all I've had to do was change two taillight bulbs! Roll on spring time!!
If you screw up painting just figure where you went wrong, strip and try again! You'll get it done I'm sure! Totally with you on the disability issues and the satisfaction of doing a good job. JIM
