How To Guide Perished Suspension Rubber

Hello all

My 2nd ‘help’ post of the evening!

Whilst tending to the (PS) front brake (Z3 1997 1.9), i spotted the rubber on top of the shock was badly perished. I’ve left it alone, but welcome any views on whether this is an urgent replace, or it’s not really a big issue. Thanks in advance.

Nothing to lose sleep over. I have some used ones here at the Shed I could send you. But, you will need to remove the front strut and then strip off the spring to fit them.
