That looks like it could be the engine breather from the rocker cover to me. That would explain oil vapor escaping which looks a lot like steam. Is the engine oil level going down ?, or, for that matter the engine coolant level going down?

The red plastic float isn’t floating so I thought it was coolant to be honest. I’ll check the oil tomorrow as it’s not something I’d thought of as a potential issue. Not had any oil warning lights yet.

Think I’ve solved the issue with this one. Replaced the radiator thermostat and fingers crossed no more pipe blowing and dumping coolant over the drive!!
