Just fitted a carbon fiber pipercross induction kit as i had it in garage from a previous vehicle.

It was anodised red so stripped it down and sprayed in the colour of the car (Black sapphire). Had to order a reduction (80mm to 70mm) 45degree bend black silicone hose from MAF to Filter and cut down to size. Then used an 80mm neoprene air duct to run the air flow to the existing headlight vent.

Think it looks good and gives a small increase in medium to high end growl and better throttle response across the rev range (absolutely not done for power...of which there shall be none extra anyway).

What do you think?

Took the cold air feed from the standard headlight air intake. I had considered running the neoprene duct down to under the rad but figured this would look cleaner and utilise what was already in place.

:D:D

Area under the OEM airbox had a bit of pitting and surface rust. With the Induction kit fitted it was fairly obvious so rubbed it back a bit, rust prevention brushed on and zinc primed the area in preparation for top coat (Sapphire Black like car and filter). Picture was taken before the top coat had been applied.

The keen eyed among you would have seen the matt finish compared to the semi gloss on the strut top.

Looks good all blacked up. Next on the list is some smoked indicators...Yeh or neh?
