Plastic trim paint recommendations

I have some plastic trim that I want to recolour from beige to black.

Has anyone tried this? Are there any recommendations for method? Or specific products?

I was looking at this stuff.

Yep I've been looking at this too, seems the most promising I have found so far

Interesting. I'll probably give it a go then. I like the fact it dyes rather than coats the plastic.

I might even be able to use it on the Scalextric!

Unless you use a primer first.
Doesn't need a primer Mike, its designed to melt into the vinyl and colour it not cover it. (apparently)
