For Sale Posters of Z3 Roadster Artworks For Sale

As a fellow member of this forum, I wanted to share this with you as am hoping they will be of interest.

I have been the owner of a BMW Z3 for just over 4 years and a graphic designer for the last 25 years and I recently decided to combine my passion for both, to create the artwork for a set of posters.

I have started www.mpecautoillustrations.com selling a collection of them and my first projects are the BMW Z3 Roadster:

1) 1998 Z3M in Estoril Blue Metallic 335

2) 1999 Z3 2.0 in Bright Red 314

3) 2000 Z3 2.8 in Arctic Silver 309

They are available as individual prints or as combination prints, depending on your preference.

All artworks are created at my base in rural Derbyshire, where I painstakingly hand draw each individual line on my Apple Mac with each car taking around 20 hours.

The artworks are printed at a size of 500mm x 700mm on to high quality 250gsm silk art paper and delivered in a secure cardboard tube. The cost is just £40 plus p&p.

Alternatively, if you are interested in a commissioned artwork of your own car, or would like one of these cars but with a different number plate or even colour, then please get in contact for a quote.

Hope you like them as I’m very excited and am looking to extend the range over time with a variety of cars.

I have to say I find most Z3 artwork unappealing, I'd rather look at the real thing. But I like these! I can see them on the wall of a BMW dealership they are so nice.

I'm not in the market for one myself but I need original artwork for stuff I do with my Scalextric collecting interest so I might be in touch sometime if you are open to any commission.

A suggestion for the illustrator: have you considered landscape format?
And bespoke commissions whereby an owner can send you a photo of their car for you to produce an unique drawing from?

Thank you for the suggestions everyone. Yes can certainly do landscapes and other colour options are possible. I welcome your ideas and will repost as I add artworks or else please keep checking my website. I am open to commissions but due to time required to do individual ones a buyer would need a larger budget. Therefore, I have taken on board suggestions, but they really need to be variations that appeal to more than one buyer to make it worth my while if selling for £40.

Yes, I understand bespoke would entail more time = more money.
I think landscape will ensure a larger image of the car so let us know when you do one, please.

Hi, to do a bespoke poster of 3 cars you have owned would be a unique poster, so would be more expensive than the current options as there would be a limited market ie possibly just you! However, if you let me know your three cars and send photos - if it just involved colour changes to the three models I have already done, then that would be cheaper than me drawing three new models. Cheers

It’s a 2000 so facelift. And my wheels are different.
