My 2.2i power steering reservour was leaking from underneath as they do so I set out to pull it out, clean it up, and reclamp the hoses underneath. It is a relaively easy job but beware!!!!!
The radiator overflow line travels accross the air filter/intake and the shiny black part that zigzags back to the overflow bottle is brittle. I barely touched it when liberating it from the little snap in clip area and the line broke! Be warned, I highly reccomend that if you want to do this job unclip the hoses where they exit the radiator and enter in the overflow reservoir and take the whole line out as one piece very very carefully.
To temperarily fix the issue I bought some new radiator hose and cut up the broken brittle line to use as a joiner, just securing it on each end with two worm screw clamps. It looks good but I will order a new part from somewhere. The stealers want aud$80 for a new one in Germany but I am sure I can get it cheaper somewhere else.
