Just got 2001 3.0 roadster. Lowered top/hood. While lowering, a whirring noise came from under the bonnet and a small puddle of hydraulic fluid was deposited on garage floor near the front of the car. So I now wish to raise the top manually.
I've already opened access on left side of the boot to hydraulic reservoir. I read a post stating there is a switch located there but I could not see one.
Cheers,

Craig

On the reservoir there’s a small T shape key you use to disable the hydraulics.
however the fluid is in the rear, so whatever leaked from the front is likely to be from something else

Noticed the key. Seemed to be stuck but I didn't put much effort to turn it.
Clockwise or anticlockwise?
