Had thoughts of putting a private reg plate on my zed , what are people's opinion of these? I have seen some cheap plates available that start with M44 at £138 plus the transfer , these have loads of 3 letter options after the M44
Is this really sad ? ,,was just thinking it would remove the S plate that I have
Thoughts?

They are good to make your car stand out from the crowd.

Mine came with the car - lots think it has a football club connection and look blank when you say no the car is RED! Bought my wife a private plate for her birthday some years ago.

It always amuses me on the plates for sale adverts when they have to put an explanation alongside to explain what it's meant to be . o_O

In my own tiny little mind I'm saying "Hi G Hyd" as if I'm talking to myself. Which I do a lot.

I used to have G4 HYD which was my initials ( G A ), and then most of my surname. Traded the car in on a whim, and couldn't transfer it off in time.

Already have my next plate in mind, but don't have the cash for it at the moment...

Mine is M3 EXC that came with the car. Thought about selling it off as someone with an M3 who thinks he is an executive would probably buy it at a decent premium but I like it so it is staying.

Hmm interesting, if i purchased one of these £138 ones that start M44 then maybe only the BMW community would know what that is?
