was original going to try hydro-dip but scrapped it due to the faffing about, this prototype is printed on photo paper then buried under layers of clear lacquer, it is plastic backed for stiffness, quite happy with the result so next step is a cheap e36 clockset off ebay, i only need the plastic front part and a set of chrome rings.

yes the clock surounds, i have a set on my current clocks, but do they come off if they are factory fit? if not then yes i will need a second set:thumbsup:

Yes, these are original factory rings from my 2000 Z3 speedo, tacho etc. They are easy to remove with gentle pressure underneath with a small bladed screwdriver. If you want them you can have them for £10 inc P&P.
