Found Proper Roll Hoops

Hello

I'm looking for a pair of "proper" roll hoops, not show hoops. They don't necessarily need to be OEM, I just want a pair of the individual hoops that sit in both sockets and look like they might actually offer some additional protection in the event of a roll.

The car already has all the mounts and trims in place, and did originally have some fitted but the previous owner removed them and fitted them to another Z3.

Original part numbers 54618401335 and 54618401336

Am I seeking the holly grail?

You can buy hoops to fit the original mountings on eBay but on here your best bet is to pm Andy @spurs fan in a coupe and see if he has any in stock.

trawled ebay for hours, but can only find the one piece "show hoops" other than some over in the States.

Hi, you need to be patient but they will show up on eBay or a car Andy is breaking. Good luck, they are out there! JIM

i am using chrome show hoops as i prefer them and my original ones are just taking up space in the shed.

down side was they came with the centre box and speaker side trims which I don't need, so if anyone needs them, in black, let me know. I'll post pictures in the for sale shortly.

just tried to list the trims in For Sale to discover I've not done enough posts elsewhere. oh well, this is one. I'd better find some thing to comment about!

All came from Quarry Motors that also had a couple of other trims I needed at the same time.
Whar do you think this is worth £100?

Hi Dave, you can always use a vinyl spray to change to beige. Have used it to change the colour of vinyl tops and never had any peeling even in our hostile conditions!! JIM

Have you seen the pics of mine in the far sale section ?
Have seen others here forsale at £50 but have no idea at postage costs will have to look into it for you as there must be more than one way. Depending on postage costs I am sure that we can come to a deal as I want gone and you sound like a good home.
