Rebody Quick & dirty door cards

I was asked to fit a pair of door cards for someone, he hated the gap between the top of the BMW door card and the top of the outer doorskin but doesn't at the moment want to go for a full blown interior so this is intended as an interim (or should it be intertrim) solution. Rather pleased with myself as the vinyl match is almost perfect with the original BMW trim. When it is all retrimmed it will just have new vinyl fitted along with window winder switches and door pockets along with brackets welded to the door to allow the door pulls to be fitted lower down.
Wooden steering wheel and alloy gear lever next on the list.

I haven't fitted my outer door skins and the thought of that height difference is already going round in my head.

I'm planning on doing something similar with mine but also toying with the idea of wood trim along the top of the door card - or probably not.

If you need a set of the door panels I can supply them along with the door opening mechanisms and the electric switches that you can attach fake window winders to.

Can you swap back the original z3 door cards if that would be needed?I have airbags in my door cards, so I need to have the cards back in place during MOT

Not a problem to simply swap them back and pop the original door card back on.

I see them now. All I saw originally was a little square with a red X in it. Y'know the icon that shows when the picture source is no longer available.

The bit of the card at the top that hooks into the top of the door. What's that made of?

Are these cards something you make and sell?

They are made of grp and I can suppply them bare or with door opening hardware
