Pity not weekend before as I will be down seeing my daughter then and would only be 24 miles away from the museum.

That's a shame mate, being a mechanic you could've helped with ongoing restoration .

Me and Jacquie will be up for this. Only 20 miles for us so can meet up any where local to Scunthorpe. Travel Lodge at M18 / M180 Junction including Greggs and Costa, about 18 miles from Scunthorpe.

There is a nice route avoiding M180 takes about 10 minutes longer but worth it, takes in site of Flixborough brings you in at back of Scunthorpe close to Museum

Have a good a/b road route already in the can if anyone fancies a run to the coast after the visit, takes about an hour at a steady pace.

Shame this clashes with the Autumn Colours Cruise:(, otherwise I'd have been interested. Perhaps another time?

What coast are you thinking of going to? How long does everyone anticipate being at the museum and is this the museum that was reported as closing soon in here?

Not sure about Paul's route as not familiar with the area. Probs a couple of hours then off for lunch then a spin round. The Museum is currently looking for a new home, which I think it will.
